Enquire today!Who are Community Patrols New Zealand?
Our role is to assist the Police
We do this by patrolling residential, business and industrial areas, acting as eyes and ears for the Police. Our aim is to reduce the incidence and effects of criminal activity.
We are a national organisation
Formed in 2001, CPNZ supports some 5000 members in over 130 community patrols throughout New Zealand, affilliated to the national body. Community Patrol members are volunteers.
How the Police see us
"Local community patrols have played a major part in helping bring crime levels down... They're another set of eyes for the Police. They are very important to us and do a fabulous job." - Inspector Doug Parker
